1. My God, who despite my imperfections, forgives and loves me anyways! I am so grateful for a new Bible Study at church with other women that challenge me, and Beth Moore, that is like no other!
2. My amazing husband! He works so hard to provide for his family, goes to school all day, then comes home, wrestles with the kids, does the laundry and dishes (if not accomplished by myself all day long), and manages to do all of this without a single complaint! He really is amazing! Sorry girls, but I have the BEST catch out there!
3. My two healthy and happy kiddos! I couldn't be more luck to have two kids that always been pretty healthy and happy, no matter what the circumstances! They are flexible to schedules, not picky eaters, social bugs, adapt to change, and true cuddle bugs! (When you can get them to stop playing and dancing around the house!) They really are my two little monkeys and I couldn't love them more!!
3. My Family! Although I would love for us all to live closer and for us to be all together more, I do have the best family!! We sure have a lot of laughs and good times together when it does happen! And my parents are the BEST!! They are available when I need them, go out of their way to love their grandchildren, and never cease to tell me that they are proud- a priceless thing to this girl!
4. My In-laws and Kyle's family. You know, I have so many friends that talk about the family they married into, and about "issues" that arise because they aren't like the family they grew up in. However, I am truly blessed!!!!! There will always be differences in families, but I think I married into the BEST family I could have possibly found! They have always accepted me as their own and their isn't the "drama" of in-laws that I hear about! I am a lucky girl!
5. Our surroundings. I know that sounds funny, but I mean it! I am thankful to be living near both of our families, in a city that we love, and in a house/neighborhood that is safe. I know I complain about little things about my house, like little storage, a small kitchen, and not enough space, but truly I am blessed to have what I have! We are lucky to live near friends that we have so much fun with, and ones that lift us up in this thing called "life!"
6. My job. I have always had a passion to make a "REAL DIFFERENCE" in the lives of other people. That is why I went into teaching. However, I quickly found out that if I wanted to be a mom to my little ones, a 7-4pm job wasn't going to cut it. And thus, we started our Shaklee business! I couldn't be more THANKFUL for an opportunity to make a difference, help others become healthy, and offer an income opportunity and relief to those that are so badly hurting in today's world! I am so thankful for Roger Barnett, owner and CEO, for being a TRUE leader who cares, and for all of the Shaklee staff for their love and support for "little 'ol me" as I build my business! We also work with some of the most GENUINE people in the world, on Team HOPE, and we are thankful for that! We are lucky to have people in our lives that make our world a better place!!
Ok, so I know there are only 6 things here that I am thankful for today, but I think all of life fit into one of these categories! To say the least, I am one lucky and blessed girl, and am VERY thankful for that! :)
(Now back to my kiddos, who are running around half naked and giggling!) :)
