Paradise!!!

It has been SO long since I have sat down and blogged, but it is for good reason! We have been in PARADISE!! Let me just tell you a little about our trip.

Kyle and I seriously joined Shaklee just a little over a year ago, and have been BEYOND blessed by this company so early on in our journey! In just the first year alone, we earned an all expense paid trip to San Fransisco (which was in May over our 5 year wedding anniversary!!), free conference tickets to our Global Conference in DC in August, a NEW VAN, lots of cash bonuses on top of regular commissions, and last but NOT LEAST- an all expense paid trip to ATLANTIS, BAHAMAS!!!!!!!

Can I just say...this is ALL possible to anyone that puts in the effort to help others! We aren't anything special, we didn't do anything that anyone else can't do, we just helped others feel better and work towards an income that can help them and their family!

So anyways, back to our trip to the Bahamas! I had COMPLETELY lost my summer tan, so this white body was in DESPERATE need of some sunshine! And for those of you that are close to us, you know that we had had a rough few months and weeks leading up to the trip, and we needed some time away! We made the tough decision of leaving the kids behind with Kyle's parents (And Aunt Amy and "Big Grandma" during the days!). However, I believe that the kids had a blast and didn't know we were gone! :) Mommy missed them TERRIBLY, but I enjoyed time with just their Daddy!

The trip was 6 days and 5 nights at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas! For anyone that is looking for a vacation destination, I HIGHLY suggest visiting Atlantis! The people were the nicest people I have ever met, the place was HUGE and GORGEOUS, there was a TON of things to do, and the food was amazing! However, beware, it will cost you a pretty penny on your own! (Our room was between $500-$800 a night, the water park wrist bands were $130 a day, and the food was a bit pricey)- but I would say it was all worth it! Just glad we didn't have to foot the bill!

Some of my favorite memories of the week included: (in no particular order)

Walking into the lobby of the hotel and realizing Shaklee goes ABOVE and BEYOND the minimums!

Getting the opportunity to float down the lazy river with owner and CEO, Roger Barnett!

Going down the water slides with my hubby, just being little kids again! We especially liked the slide through the shark tank!!

Getting the opportunity to spend some time with Nathan and Jenni Oates, Gilda and Chris Green, Tara and Matt Dulin, Kim and Doug Lahey, Jessica and Chris Page, Rebekah Joy, and many more- Shaklee friends that have become Family!

Getting to swim with the Dolphins! Amazing experience!

Waking up to the ocean and dolphins every morning!

Eating some AMAZING food, All....week....long!

Going to a movie with Kyle- just because we could. It has been SO long since we have done that together, and it was free, so why not?!?!

And probably most importantly, one of my favorite things ALL WEEK was having quality time with JUST Kyle, and to be able to hold his hand everywhere we went! I know that seems like such a small thing, but when you have two kids in your arms constantly, those little things mean the world! It was great to just be able to talk, laugh, have fun, dream, plan, and reconnect with each other!

To say the least, this trip was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!!!!! We are so fortunate to work for a company that loves to reward people, and we enjoyed celebrating the success with all 777 people that were there with us! We have truly found our passion in this business, made some life long friends, been appreciated above and beyond what we deserve...and for all that, we are truly THANKFUL!

We want to thank Roger Barnett for making this all possible, and for not only paying for a great trip, but for spending some quality time with us-encouraging us and appreciating our efforts! We don't view him as a boss, but a true Friend, and we are so grateful! And thanks to all the Shaklee staff that went above and beyond to make this trip an unforgettable time for all of us!

We can't wait for our next trip to the Barcelo Palace, in the Mayan Riviera, and to take our team with us!! And this time, we look forward to taking our kids to be able to experience the world as well! What a great way to take family vacations each year- on someone else's bill, and with life long friends that are all of like-mind! Can't wait!
